Exam Review

Today in English 10 we continued with Part B of the practice provincial exam.  Tomorrow we will finish with part C.  If you haven't yet please start reviewing your literary terms to help prepare you for the exam.

Review Week English 10

Hello parents and students.  I apologize for not keeping up to date on the blogs for last week.  We had a busy week of review.

Tuesday June 12- we analyzed how we will be marked on the provincial, we looked at a quick scale writing rubric, and discussed compare and contrasting writing, reviewed PEEC

Wednesday June 13- we discussed integrating quotes and we did a compare and contrast literary response

Thursday June 14- we reviewed integrating quotes and took a break from review for a couple of days

Friday June 15- review break- watched dual survival

In today's class we started a practice English 10 provincial exam online.  Students will have the next two classes to complete their test.

Last full class work day

In English 10 today students were given another full class to complete their Romeo and Juliet projects.  Projects(10 marks) and study guides (90 marks) will be due on Monday June 11.

On Monday we will start reviewing for our provincial exam.  Please come prepared to learn!

Romeo and Juliet Work Day

Today's English 10 class was shortened due to our tutorial day.  In class we discussed when our Remeo and Juliet assignments are due- Monday June 11.

Students were given 60 minutes to either finish their study package or work on their final R/J project.
